Q&A with Ricci
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of motherhood?
A: Just seeing her grow each month and her hitting her milestones. It’s just so amazing to see her from a newborn, to one month, to now 8 months. It’s really rewarding to put in so much work into a small human being and to receive that smile after a long day.
Q: What do you wish someone had told you before becoming a mom?
A: I think it would be how real mom guilt is. For example if I hand over the care to her dad, I feel guilty in a way. I think it’s because we have this attachment, she was in my belly for 9 months. I wish someone told me about that, but I guess it’s a journey that all moms go through.

Q: What’s a mom “hack” that makes life easier?
A: A mom hack that makes life easier is hammering down on sleep, wake windows, and just having a routine for your baby helps so much. In the beginning I had no clue why she was crying but I learned over time that all she needed was sleep, to be fed, and to have a specific wake window before sleeping again. Moms know what I am talking about.
Q: If you could have one superpower for motherhood, what would it be?
A: I wish I could clone myself. Being a mom, I have so many tabs running through my head every single day. All of these tasks are easy on their own but when you put it all together, in my head, it just feels like a huge task, so cloning myself would be really nice.
Q: What activity or tradition with your kid(s) do you look forward to the most?
A: When I think of traditions, I think of Christmas. So, taking Christmas photos every year to see how we grow every year as a family.

Q: How has motherhood influenced your personal style?
A: My lifestyle influences the way I dress. Now I’m so laid back, you’ll see me in a hoodie, big pants, or elevated pj’s like what I am wearing right now. I love the striped pj vibes. I love wearing loose clothing because I am always on the go, always taking care of her so I want to feel easy breezy.
Q: Do you have go-to outfits that make you feel confident on busy days?
A: I love elevated pj’s like these Propaganda Cole Boxer pants. I find that I sweat a lot when I am always moving, so loose clothing. I love wearing my dad’s button ups because they are nice and flowy and you can pretty much do anything in them.
